Information that is offered in response to a Cecil County arrest warrant search is kept by multiple state agencies in an attempt to ensure that this data is readily available for the consumption of the public as well as other law enforcement agencies. While licensing and MD justice agencies get access to complete crime records, civilian applicants are only offered limited criminal history data.

Generally, your inquiry into the issue of active warrants will get you information on the release of these directives, arrests and conviction. It is normal for state departments to only reveal information on cases that have ended in a guilty verdict while holding back data on pending matters. However, private establishments follow no such rules.

The form on top of this page can be used to access arrest records and warrants related data from all over the country. Yet, many people prefer to go through official channels when looking for outstanding warrants from Cecil County. One of the reasons for this is that you can get the results of the inquiry notarized when you approach a government department.

In terms of the amount you would spend for the warrant search, private agencies are more affordable since they offer multiple inquiries for a set fee. In contrast, with a state agency, you will end up paying on a per search basis. Of course, it should also be mentioned here that you can get access to the court dockets database and a most wanted list through the county clerk’s office and the sheriff’s department. To connect with these government agencies, you can go to:

  • The sheriff’s: 107 Chesapeake Blvd, Suite 112, Elkton, Maryland 21921
  • The magistrate’s: 129 E Main St, Elkton, MD 21921
  • The county clerk’s: 108 Court House, Elkton, Maryland 21921
